The Evolutionary Void is the third book in the Void Trilogy. The title refers to the fact that the Accelerator faction want to enter the Void in order to fulfil their aim of accelerating human evolution to post-physical status.

Edeard finally triumphs over the bandits, confronting and passing sentence on the man who slaughtered the inhabitants of Ashwell, taunting the young Edeard in the process.
Outside the Void: Araminta's story
Araminta comes to realise that she cannot elude the Living Dream faction, who want her to lead them into the Void forever, and that the only way for her to be free of them is to appear to be willing to give them what they want.
