The Firstlifes are a hyper-advanced race of intelligent aliens. As their name suggests, they were the first intelligent species to evolve in the galaxy. They were responsible for constructing the Void at the center of the galaxy, and have since been absent from the greater universe after having retreated within the universe contained within the Void.
During a crisis in which the Void threatened to enter a final devourment phase and consume the galaxy, a delegation of humans entered the Void and used its time-reversal function to reset the Heart and instantiate a living Firstlife.
